Defence lawyers are calling for financial help to fund a critical appeal concerning the government’s decision to press ahead with two-tier contracts for criminal legal aid – more HERE. The Criminal Law Solicitors’ Association and London Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association had previously lost their High Court challenge to the contracts.
